Historical plat of 'North Hill', using 1804 & 1820 surveys and showing various roads, fords etc. This is the old Castleman place and was used as a boarding house/hotel. Shows the sites of all the ferry crossings, the site of the Riverside Mill & tannery, Glenwood, Shipp's Mill, and buildings under what is now the bridge. Unknown where the earlier plats are, maybe in Frederick County. CCHA 63.1987.1
